Skirting board heating
Installed along the perimeter of rooms, baseboard heating systems replace traditional baseboards, offering multiple advantages: they require no special construction work, are virtually invisible, don't raise dust, and are efficient, thanks to the minimal water consumption. They can also be solar-powered.
With elements installed on the exterior walls of the home, with warm air rising from special vents located at the top, baseboard heating keeps the walls dry and spreads even heat throughout the room, preventing the formation of mold and humidity.
Underfloor heating
A proven solution, present in Italian homes for years now, underfloor heating systems also employ radiant panels. In this case, however, the space requirement is zero because the coiled pipes are installed under the floor.
Able to operate at low temperatures, underfloor heating is now available in both pipe-based and electrically conductive systems that perform the same functions. The coils, used for heat radiation (and optionally for cooling), ensure the system's efficiency, but a thermostat must be installed in each room: completely shutting down the system risks negating its economic benefits.
